a word...
"During my time working with Jennifer, I became well acquainted with her intelligence, creativity & responsibility. She was a good mentor for junior team members & a capable team project leader. And, at the very same time, she was always intrigued to learn more – to attempt to stay up on the latest technologies & design trends.
Jennifer is organized, efficient & extremely competent. She led a creative group & she worked very well with them at all levels. Besides the team members, she also had an excellent rapport with clients utilizing her excellent written & verbal communication skills. I feel that Jennifer would be an asset to any company & team."

my story
I graduated from
The Art Institute of Colorado (with emphasis in Visual Communications) & updated my knowledge & capabilities with a Web Design Certificate (2009) at
The Bay Area Video Coalition in San Francisco.
Over the past 20 years, I've worked as a graphic designer - with the past 15 years focused solely on web design. In that time, I lived for a decade overseas in Singapore. While there,
I worked for both a local firm (SilkRoute Ventures) & for myself in my own business (jawbre@ker designs).
The
web sites I've created range from the small corner floral shop to a large international patent law firm. While I mainly outsourced the harder coding needs (databases or shopping cart creations), I did create the :: users interface & experience :: overall flow & navigational structures :: design look & feel with original graphics :: handwritten front-end coding :: photography :: continual web maintenance.
Now living in the San Francisco Bay Area, I write a
weekly design blog, like to experiment with design, color & code - & look forward to continuing as a strong & valuable contributor to web design.
